Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. She spent most of her childhood listening to classical music Boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic songs and old classical pieces. Ana is passionate about tangos and opera, as well as the dramatic shows that she attends. Her mother taught her to sing. However, she began more intensive vocal training through Flavio Belcerra at 16 when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera singer and tenor. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. While a young student and professional, she performed with various chamber groups as well as opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. Following her move from Mexico to the United States at the age of 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo with traditional Latin American music at private occasions. Ana is involved in a variety of local organizations, both as a teacher as well as a performer due to her passion for art and music. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her love and love for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others as she hopes to impart a desire to, particularly in the younger age group in order to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
